What the Program Offers
Fremont County employees and spouses can receive a premium reduction of up to $100 per month, per person, by meeting health standards based on recommendations by the National Institutes of Health for BMI or waist measurement, blood pressure, cholesterol, and glucose or A1c. Those who are not able to meet one or more of the standards will earn a partial premium reduction, and can then earn the difference by participating in the Participation Incentive Program to a participation incentive award in January and July.
Employees, spouses, and dependents are also eligible to receive prescriptions for high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes (including test strips and needles), and asthma at no cost by participating in the Prescription Coverage Program.
Requirements for the Participation Incentive or Prescription Coverage Programs are listed under the individual tabs of the same names. Please see Penny for more information.
